We are using C#with the DevExpress library. Unfortunately Sisulizer does not link a control for the DevExpress XtraReport PageFooter. If we translate and create this elements the sizes of all controls which we had putted in the page footer are changed and to small. We designed the software so that the control sizes are dependent on the language so each user could read complete strings and not cutted by the control size. With the page footer it seems Sizulizer works not correctly. Do you have any idea what we could do?:?

Hello Ekke,

can you please send the .resx and the source (.cs/.vb) of the form containing the report plus the .slp in a zip to support (at) sisulizer.fi. We will take a look.

Markus

Hello Ekke,

better we go for English so we do not have extra delays. Our development is in Finland and Japan, Janusz who helps with first level support is from Poland. The only language we all speak is English :-)

Hello Markus,

thanks for fast response.

I send a sample project with this email. This project is still not translated with Sisulizer. You could start this application and it will be ask for the language you would like to see in the report. The Page Footer controls are changing the width itself to show always the complete string.

If you will translate this project with Sisuizer the control width in the Page footer will be constant and cut the strings. SISULIZER does not link a compatibel component for the Page Footer Control.

The Sisulizer slp. File is also included into the zip File.

Greatings and thanks for your effort

Ekke

Can you please give me a short description what our R&D has to do to see the problem. Which form is causing the problem? Is it XtraReport1.cs?

Markus

Hello Markus,

yes the XtraReport1.cs

Please try to start the application and please have look on the report. Please also start the report with different languages. You will see that the size of the controls which are placed in the footer are adjusted on the string length.

If you translate this project with Sisulizer and started the application again the controls are in english version are to short.

Ekke

Hi Ekke,

only R&D has the needed DevExpress controls to compile and look at this. I will forward it to them.

Best

Markus

Hello Markus,

Is it helpful, if I send a setup file of this application? The DevExpress controls are included then.

best regards Ekke

Hi,

I think R&D has them while DevExpress is on our list of supported controls: http://www.sisulizer.com/localization/software/third-party-control-support.shtml

If we need them we come back to you.

Markus
