Hi !
Can you please explain me why Sisulizer can´t find translation although there are translations in the database. I´ve checked the requested translations with the database and it looks like they should work with eachother.
Is there something wrong in the databse ?
It´s a little bit uncomfortable to copie the text manually from the database into Sisulizer.  Another way would be, to gives these strings to a translator again, but this means a double of the coast because this string was already translated.
Is there a "trick" to fix the database or Sisulizer?
I have sent you the Sisulizer Projectfile together with our databse.

Thank you for your help

This is the same proplem that you repoerted two weeks ago. The reason was 2008 removed more special characters as 1.6. Your items were added in 1.6 but you were trying to use them in 2008. This is perectly OK. There was a bug in Sisulizer that pevented it using translation that uses those characters that 2008 removed but 1.6 did not (such as !).

This has already been fixed in build 266. What version dod you use?

Jaakko

Hi Jaakko.
Thank you for your answer. I can remember the problem too and I also thought that it was solved but it seems that it´s still there. I´m using Sisulizer 2008 Build 268. So I thought I should be able to use translations from the database. But why is it still not possible to get them ? I thought the latest sisu version should work with all translation whatever which version it was as they were saved into database ?!
Please tell what am I doing wrong !?
Björn

I apologize for the disturbance again, but I have to decide how we should go on with our translation work. So I´m not sure what to do. Is there any way to use the already translated text from our database or is it lost for the Sisulizer 2008 ? So does it mean we have to get a translation for this again ? Can you please give me an advise ?

Your translation are safe in database. I made 2008 combatible to old TM data that contains those characters that 2008 removes. If you use build 266 or later it should work without changing anything. If you still can not get those translations from TM let me know and I will see it more.

I´m sorry but the error still exists. This is why I have sent you my project with database at the 14th. I´m using build 268.

Hi Björn,

I checked its status. It is still in the queue of issues our developers are working at. The latest build could not address all open issues.
