1. When selecting multiple files as sources and choosing to exclude the string resources, only the explicitly selected file (by mouse) or its previous one's string resources are excluded. All other files' string resources are still included.

2. When creating Multilingual files, Sisulizer will insert English resource even if not specified. For instance, though a dialog has only Arabic and Hebrew resources, the target will also have English resources. You can take system's comctl32 file as source and reproduce the bug.

1. This is a feature. The excluded resources settings are different for each sources.

2. Are you localizing a Windows C++ binary file? You have to uncheck the "Keep original resources" check box. See the attachment.

1. I don't think it a feature though I agree that in most cases "excluded resources settings are different for each sources". As you can see, if a person creates a project from several different files, he will have ONLY ONE choice to exclude the resources. So logically this SHOULD apply to all the files in the batch he creates. If not, a way is ought to be provided for the user to exclude different resources (of other files). The user can add files with different resources excluded later, however, in the same batch of files they should be treated identically to comply to the general principle of "Select first, operate second" of the OS. Imagine you select five files and copy, but when you paste only the last selected file (the file explicitly selected by the mouse) is pasted. This is exactly the same situation with the issue I reported. Thus it is not a feature but a bug.

But you can't even select multiple files on the project tree. Only once at time. Which other sources the action should also be effected? To all in the project?

Have I understood your problem correctly. Do you have the same situation as in this picture?

I refer to the very initial creating project from "Localize a file or files" Wizard, not the created project. That is when creating a project from several files, the exclusion should be applied to ALL these files.

2. It seems that you don't understand the issue either. :) It was first reported by my friend. So let's take a look at an example. Say, I have a multilingual dll which contains both Arabic and Hebrew resources and I want to localize it into Chinese. With the default "check" of the option, I finally get a multilingual dll with Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese and English (which is not necessary and added by fault). With the option "unchecked", I can only get a dll with Chinese resources with Arabic and Hebrew resources lost. So here is the issue.

Now I got your point in case number 2. I will fix it to the next build.

Thanks for the fix, but what about the first one and the Desktop Shortcut Icon issue I reported in another post?

So the new 269 build is out, but it seems that these two bugs are still not fixed. I wonder when the new build with fix will be out. Thanks in advance.

For the issue 2. you have to uncheck the "Keep original resources" check box. Try with it.

I am retesting the issue 1.
