 Hello,

In source file options, there is a check box named "Copy all the resources". As I understand, untranslated resources will not be copied if that check box is cleared. The result will be a smaller resource file size. So why would we want to check this box ? When it is not checked, and when the program needs an untranslated resource, will it find the original text ? What are the disadvantages of clearing this check box ?

 Hi,

you can use the option without problems to get smaller resources.

Some customers prefer to always have all resources in all files even if they are duplicates. This way every resource is complete and does not need the "help" of a second file.

 There are no disadvantages. All the text resources (Strings, Dialogs and Forms) will be copied anyway. Even if there are no translations in them.

It is checked by default just for sure not to make users confused. "Where are some of my resources gone?"
