We are currently developing an application, which required to be localized at specific sub-deliveries before the final release of the application. We are not currently using Sisulizer, however I like be sure that Sisulizer is capable of updating localizations according to changes in the original application during the development process, so that localizations should not be made from scratch at each release. Is this feature supported in Sisulizer?

Hi,

sure, this is easy to be done. Simply use Project - Scan For Changes and Sisulizer finds what has changed, added and removed. All unchanged strings are automatically taken to your new build. The feature sets a row status you can filter for. Absolutely easy to use and one of the core features making Sisulizer so popular. Here is how to do it:

a) Create a project in Sisulizer
b) Make a new build of your software. Place the new binaries at the same place where the old have been (the paths are stored in the project created in a). Do not create a new project!
c) Use Project - Scan For Changes
d) Look at the little color bubbles showing the row status. You can filter for them. You translator only needs to translate the marked lines as new or changed.

Hope this helps

Markus

Great, Thanks!

Is the "Scan for changes" feature supported in all versions of Sisulizer i.e. personel, professional, and enterprise?

Yes, sure. All Sisulizer editions except the free Translation Edition support Scan for Changes.

Best,
Markus
