When I export an Excel file, change a translation value and then try to import the file I get an error message "Can not open a docfile".  (This actually also happens if I don't change anything, just export an Excel file and then attempt to import it immediately).  Export/Import works perfectly for .txt files however.  Am I missing some important step to the export process for Excel files?

Thanks.

Remember to close the file in Excel before trying to import it to Sisulizer.

I changed 1.6.8 such way that it shows a message box that tell that fiel is opened into Excel and should be closed before trying to import.

To create a .drc file choose "Project|Options|Linker from Delphi" , check Detailed in the Map file radio group, and rebuild the application.

Where it? How it to see?

What it is necessary to make that items of the menu "Ignored Spellings" and "Ignored Grammars" became active?

What is your Delphi version? This depends a bit from Delphi.

1) Start Delphi
2) Open your project
3) Choose Project | Options

Delphi 7:
Linker - Map file

Delphi 2009:
Delphi Compiler - Linking - Map file

After that recompile your application.

About your second question…Currently Sisulizer supports following spellchecker engines Polar spell checker, Hunspell spell checker, and Lingsoft spell & grammar checker. By default installed are only Polar spell checker dictionaries, if you want use Hunspell spell checker (used in Open Office, Firefox, Thunderbird) you can download dictionaries for free here: http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries
Grammar checking is supported only by Lingsoft module, and for this reason Sisulizer UI items related to grammar checking are grayed (inactive) if you haven't installed this module.
Lingsoft is commercial software, and currently supports only Nordic Europe language e.g. Danish, Finnish or Swedish. More information you will find here: http://www.lingsoft.fi/index.php?lang=en

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello.

Message string .
This line there is no mistake in a variable?
Do you want to overwrite "%0:s" ("%1:s") with "%2:s"

While translating with TM in dialogue it is visible:

"Do you want to overwrite"" ("Resource") with "Translation"

The text of the original is absent.Only double quote .

Hello,

I tested your issue with some sample texts saved to TM, and in overwrite confirm dialog "%0:s" variable was always correctly replaced by text of original. It seems to me that variable is correct, and reason is original string. Could you find and send to us on support (at) sisulizer.fi strings where occurred empty item for original text in above mentioned confirmation dialog?

Best regards,
Janusz

BTW:
It seems to me that, I got sometimes similar results (empty original text) in confirmation dialog for some projects e.g. for Sisulizer localization project, but I can't remember where it happened.
