I load up the .sln file, see all the resources, change some and perform a build.  I can't figure out how to make the change persist itself into the actual resource and into the VS project.  If I reload the project in VS the change is not apparent, and if I reload the VS project into a new instance of sisulizer, the change is not apparent there either.

I checked the help, but I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

Thank you.

Hi,

Sisulizer never changes the original. It always creates a localized copy in a sub-dir. Perhaps this is the problem?

Best

Ah I see. Is there some quick way to simply import the outcome of a Sisulizer build directly back into my project?

Thanks for the quick response.

Why do you want Sisulizer to change your original sources?

Sisulizer creates localized .resx file and finally create localized satellite assembly files. If you want to change the original .resx file use Visual Studio to change them, then open your Sisulizer project and rescan (Project | Scan for Changes). Sisulizer updates its project file to match your new modofied resources. When you want to create localized files choose project | Build xxx. Sisulizer creates .resx and .dll files.

I was attempting to use Sisulizer to gain an overview of the current status of the string resources in my project. We have a large number of resource files which are all partially translated into German and Icelandic, so going through them one by one by hand is tedious and error-prone.

Opening them all in Sisulizer gives me that overview. It seems though that my problem has solved itself. Changes made in Sisulizer go all the way into the resx files (that is, the ones that were already localized, *.de.resx and *.is.resx, not the original one, which is what I was going for.). For some reason it didn't work a couple times, but seems to be functionally normally for me now. I'm sure it was just a case of me not understanding something :)

Thanks for the responses.
