Hi all, Sisulizer now supports .NET and VCL components better than ever. Third party components are sometimes very hard to localize. Some third party components hide text strings in proprietary binary data and undocumented structures. For this data a little help from the third party tool vendors is needed. Sisulizer's new support program for third party controls solves the problem. It is an invitation to all .NET and VCL component vendors to support their and our customers with their localization needs better. A lot of prominent tool vendors already joined the program. Hi More and more component vendors are joining to our program. This is very good for our customer because we can now better support you. There are three important benefits of 3rd party program. 1) We can make sure that applications using the component can be localized. If there are any issues preventing this we will work together with the vendor to fix it. 2) We can implement some special scanning for complex properties. Complex property is a property that contains combined data. For example XML data, binary data or string data that contains several values. We can implement special scanning for those properties. A good example is Janus components that use LayoutString property. The property contains XML data where some elements need to be localized. I would be very dangerous letting the translator to translate the whole XML data. The data may get corrupted. Now Sisulizer uses scan the XML data and extract only those elements that need to be localized. A similar feature is for many VCL components that contains binary data. 3) Finally we can give better support for you when we have the real version of the component. Currently we are concentrating to WinForms (.NET) and VCL components. In the future we will add WPF and ASP.NET components as well. I really hope that all major component vendors will eventually join the program. So far it is looking good.
